A safe space to heal, grow, and be heard.

Talking about your thoughts and feelings can help make your pain, anger, and sadness less intense. It can help you make sense of your thoughts to help you feel less overwhelmed.

We see ourselves as team members with clients, couples, and families — providing a safe, unbiased space to help you process thoughts, feelings, actions, and emotions.

We work with adults on reducing unwanted symptoms, gaining more clarity and insight, and identifying tools that will help maintain long-term success. Our work with children and adolescents is more hands-on and interactive, utilizing play therapy to develop rapport and build skills.

Frequently asked questions

Where are you located?
+
Located at 101 Dogwood Lane, Winchester, TN 37398 — right next door to Bennetts Pharmacy.
How do I begin working with you?
+
Give us a call or email with the best time to reach you and someone will reach out to set up a consultation. During the consultation, we will listen to your reasons for seeking therapy and what your needs are. If it's a good fit, we will set up your first appointment. If not, we will help connect you to someone who might be.
What age ranges do you work with?
+
We work with children ages 5+ and parents of children of any age who want education and help with new parenting ideas. We also work with adults of any age.
Who benefits from therapy?
+
Everyone could benefit from therapy at some point! Life is hard and it can feel overwhelming at times. Therapy helps you sort through difficult emotions, thoughts, and experiences. If you feel like having a space to be heard and understood without judgment sounds nice — or you are seeking clarity, peace of mind, and direction — you'll benefit from therapy.
How long does therapy last?
+
There is no easy answer. Some people feel better in just a few sessions; others need several months. It is best for new clients to attend weekly for the first 4–6 weeks to build momentum. When the time is right, we will adjust your sessions to bi-weekly or as-needed.
What will we do in therapy?
+
We will listen and ask questions that help you understand the emotions you are feeling. We will talk, laugh sometimes, explore feelings, and practice new skills to cope with unwanted feelings. Our goal is to support and challenge you when you are ready.
How does payment work?
+
We currently take credit card payments through Ivypay and Stripe. We use a secure portal to keep card information safely on file and charge automatically — so no part of your session is spent dealing with payment.
Do you take insurance?
+
We take a limited number of insurances. We can also provide documentation for out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance company. Contact your insurer about out-of-network coverage — we are happy to help you through this process.
